As the new-born lambs are skipping in the fields and the days have been noticeably warmer, the shop has been well-stocked with everything you will need for the Easter Bank Holiday weekend!
The Field Fare freezer is positively bursting with delicious new products, including the ever-popular croissants 🥐. All you need to do is leave them out to thaw and prove overnight (they literally double in size!), then the following morning pop them in the oven for a scrumptious breakfast. We also have almond croissants, if you prefer, which do not need overnight proving. If you need dinner inspiration, we have you covered, from Steak and Stilton Purses, to Coquille St Jacques, Scampi, Cod and Prawn Thai Fishcakes, mini Lemon Tarts, Vanilla Panna Cotta, to name but a few.
Our shelves of dry products are always well-stocked and we do try to offer locally produced goods as much as possible. I recently paid a visit to one of our suppliers, Horsebox Coffee Co. They roast their own beans and then grind them to suit the different ways we all like to make our coffee, whether it’s filtered, served in a cafetière or bean to cup. We sell ground and whole beans and already there is a loyal band of purchasers! Here are some photos of the busy unit in action:

If the sun continues to shine, don’t forget our ice-cream freezer is well stocked and we have chilled wines and lagers in the chiller. If you’d like to order any of our wines by the 6-bottle case, please speak to Tracey who would be delighted to place the order for you.
We would like to wish all our customers a Happy Easter! 🐣
