Christmas 2025 newsletter

Well, here we are, just a few short weeks to go until Christmas Day!  The village store is looking exceedingly festive and we think we have excelled ourselves this year on the incredible choice of festive goodies, from chocolates, shortbreads, mince pies, wines, champagne plus any number of wonderful gifts.  You’re sure to find something for everyone!

Why not join us on the evening of Friday 5^th December from 6-8pm to have a browse?  You will be welcomed in with drinks and nibbles plus at 6.30pm, singers will be around the Christmas tree singing all the favourite carols.

Tracey is busy in the kitchen making mince pies, Christmas cakes and fudge!  The shop is groaning with all three!  Six mince pies with different toppings are beautifully displayed in an attractive box, a great idea for a gift if you are popping round to neighbours and/or family.  If you’d like to order some mince pies, Tracey is very happy for you to deliver your own tin and she will fill it with however many you would like!  She is currently taking orders for Christmas cakes, either 5” square, 8” round or a glazed fruit loaf.  Please give your orders into the shop.  New this year is scrumptious fudge (once more made by Tracey) and homemade granola either with chocolate pieces and dried cranberries or plain.  For further information on products, please see the leaflet recently delivered to every household in the village, for more ideas.

On the other hand, you may simply be in need of a cuppa, a slice of homemade cake and a chance for a few moments to yourself amongst all the rush of the festivities.  Please come in and enjoy a few moments peace!
