The new-born lambs are skipping in the fields, the blossom on the trees is looking beautiful, yes, the warm days are surely on the way.
In our village store, there are some exciting new products to tell all our customers about!
The Store now has a new supplier of breads and rolls. Lawlors of Henley are delivering some delicious sourdoughs, cornbreads, bloomers, granary loaves, white and wholemeal, rye sourdoughs, together with some fresh white and brown rolls. We will be using the latter for our daily filled rolls! We are also taking delivery of some of their pastries, please do come and try them and let us know what you think. Your opinion matters to us! Don’t forget, you can pre-order if you speak to Tracey in the shop at least 24 hours before (48 for sourdoughs).
We are keeping everything crossed that we will have a gorgeous spell of weather as we are now stocking our ice creams and lollies. As soon as word gets around, they fly out of the shop!
If you’re feeling peckish for something sweet or are looking for a little gift, we are now stocking some scrumptious new buttermilk fudges and sweet treats: Caramel Seasalt Honeycomb, Peanut Brittle, Vanilla Fudge, Chocolate Caramel Fudge And Caramel Seasalt Fudge. We think they will be very popular. Come and have a look!
May is the month of two Bank Holidays and we have everything you will need for family top-ups. No time to bake? Come and choose one of our much-praised lemon drizzle cakes, fruit loaves amongst other choices.
Our AGM is coming up soon. 30th May to be precise. Please keep your eye open for the Zoom link if you would like to attend online.
Last but most definitely not least, Ewelme Village Store will have been open in its’ current format for 15 years, on May 2nd. We think that’s something to celebrate so do come and congratulate all the staff when you’re in the shop! 🍾😇👏🎺
