POSTAL SERVICE – new charges
FROM MONDAY 18th July 2022
We are introducing a charge for our postal collection service.
Any parcels dropped off for collection by Royal Mail will be charged at 50p per parcel.
We will also be charging 50p for weighing and sending other post (including letters) where we use our online account to provide this service.
We have resisted introducing this charge so far, but we have to pay a significant amount of money for the Royal Mail daily collections and no longer receive consistent discounts on online postage, so have to find a way of covering the cost of offering this service to the community.
We still sell physical stamps for First Class, Second Class and Large Letter which you can buy over the counter (no extra charge!).
